The Florida Wind Band proudly presents our Season 19 Finale: Pictures at an Exhibition, featuring the full wind ensemble in a program that celebrates artistry, storytelling, and musical craftsmanship. The evening opens with Kenneth Fuchs’ lyrical “United Artists” and Brian Balmages’ evocative “Rippling Watercolors”, followed by a captivating Student Concerto winner, showcasing the next generation of musicians nurtured through the ensemble’s educational programs.

The centerpiece of the program, Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”, transforms the concert hall into a gallery of sound, bringing each painting vividly to life through the ensemble’s dynamic performance. The finale concludes with the spirited “Corcoran Cadets March” by Sousa, leaving audiences inspired and uplifted. This concert embodies the season’s theme, “Crafting Sound, Shaping Culture,” and is a fitting celebration of music, creativity, and community.
