Season 19 (2026-2027)

We are excited to announce The Florida Wind Band’s 2026–2027 season, “Crafting Sound, Shaping Culture.” Our 19th year will feature bold and immersive performances that are a living reflection of community and shared experience. With concert themes ranging from patriotic to spiritual, and repertoire from the breathtaking, multi-media “Blue Marble,” to the monumental “Pictures at an Exhibition,” this season weaves together world premieres, interdisciplinary collaborations, and culturally rich narratives. Through the expanding “Lights Out” chamber series and deepening educational partnerships, the organization continues its mission to connect audiences of all backgrounds to the transformative power of wind music.

To launch this exciting season, the Florida Wind Band will host its inaugural benefit fundraiser on October 29, 2026, at the Tampa Museum of Art. This special evening will bring together supporters, artists, and music lovers for a night of live performance, philanthropy, and camaraderie in support of the ensemble’s artistic and educational initiatives. Guests will interact with our musicians, learn more about our vision, and have the opportunity to help the organization reach our goals of expanding access to music education, sustaining professional musicianship, and ensuring the continued growth of a vibrant cultural institution in the Tampa Bay community.
