Objective 1: Strengthen Audience Development and Community Engagement
This objective focuses on deepening audience relationships while expanding community reach. The Florida Wind Band will enhance targeted marketing, increase engagement through pre-concert chats and immersive programming, strengthen partnerships with regional organizations and schools, and continue expanding the "Lights Out" Chamber Series as an accessible entry point for new audiences. These efforts aim to increase average concert attendance by 15%.
Objective 2: Expand Educational Outreach and Student Pathways
The objective is to focus on strengthening the educational pipeline connecting youth programs with the adult professional ensemble. The Florida Wind Band will expand recruitment for youth ensembles, offer additional learning opportunities such as sectionals and masterclasses, and deepen partnerships with regional schools and universities. These efforts aim to engage 300 students and establish 10 school partnerships.
Objective 3: Diversify Revenue Streams and Strengthen Financial Sustainability
The objective is to expand donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, and strategic fundraising initiatives. The Florida Wind Band will grow sponsorship opportunities, host a fundraising event, strengthen the annual Giving Season campaign, host donor cultivation events, and increase sponsor visibility through programs, livestreams, and digital media. These efforts aim to achieve 20% growth in contributed revenue.
Objective 4: Retain & Sustain Musicianship and Artistic Excellence
This objective will focus on sustaining high performance standards while strengthening musician engagement. The Florida Wind Band will continue presenting ambitious repertoire, expand chamber performance opportunities into the community, support leadership among principal players, and maintain efficient rehearsals and strong ensemble communication. The Florida Wind Band will continue supporting its professional musicians by providing a per-service honorarium for rehearsals and performances.
