The Florida Wind Band will perform stirring works including Carol Brittin Chambers’ Bright Light in the World and Julie Giroux’s evocative The Blue Marble, a sweeping, multimedia exploration of our planet. Together with Autumn Winds, this concert celebrates creativity, community, and the power of music to connect us all.

Tracy Lisi is the K–5 Music Supervisor for Hillsborough County Public Schools, a role she has held since 2021. With more than 35 years of experience in music, her career spans professional performance, recording, and music education.
Tracy began her career as a performing artist, appearing on stages across the country and internationally as a vocalist and pianist, and working as a background vocalist in recording studios. She later discovered her passion for teaching through an elementary music internship, leading to 18 years in the classroom where she directed choirs and instrumental ensembles and inspired young musicians.
A GRAMMY-nominated music educator and Hillsborough County Public Schools Teacher of the Year, Tracy has also served in key leadership roles, including President of the Hillsborough County Elementary Music Educators Council and District 3 Chair for the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association. Her work includes curriculum development, professional learning design, and large-scale event coordination, including the HCPS Elementary Fine Arts Festival and Young Songwriters Symposium.
Tracy holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida and remains an active advocate for elementary music education at the district and state levels.
