Biography: Philip Beatty, a Tampa native, has been playing tuba since he was fifteen. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Tuba Performance from the University of Miami. He has also studied at the University of South Florida, Stetson University, and the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Beatty performs regularly with the Florida Wind Band and Tampa Brass Band and is a regular sub with the Sarasota Orchestra. When he is not playing tuba, Dr. Beatty is the Band Director at Pierce Middle School in Hillsborough County.

Kelly Bravard

Biography: Kelly Bravard is a tuba player in the Tampa area who received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida and has been performing with the Florida Wind Band since 2017. He teaches elementary music in the Pasco county School district.
