Javi Rodriguez

Biography: Javi Rodriguez is the band and chorus teacher at Tinker K8 on base at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa. He teaches music lessons (bass guitar, drum set, acoustic/electric guitar, and voice) at the Studio of South Tampa. Javi earned his Bachelor of Music at the University of South Florida and his Master of Music at Baylor University. Javi is a freelance bassoonist, playing with Venice Symphony and the Gulf Coast Symphony. He is constantly inspired by his students and hopes to pass on the wisdom and knowledge of his teachers to the next generation!
Tristan Hensley

Biography: Tristan Hensley was born and raised in Melbourne, FL. After high school, he attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences and Human Nutrition, with a minor in Bassoon Performance. He then attended dental school at the University of Florida and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Tristan moved to the Tampa area in 2014 and now owns a private dental practice called TrueSmiles Dental Studio in Lutz, FL. Tristan has been playing the bassoon since the seventh grade and enjoys performing in multiple musical ensembles throughout the Tampa area. In addition to his musical pursuits, Tristan loves exploring new restaurants and staying fit and active.
Kevin Lindow

Biography: Kevin Lindow graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Studies. While at USF, he played clarinet with the Herd of Thunder Marching Band and bassoon with the USF Concert Band, USF Symphonic Band, and USF Wind Ensemble. Since graduating, Kevin has worked in the Hillsborough County Public Schools IT department as a Field Technician and now works at USF in the IT department as a Research Systems Support Technician. Kevin has also played with the Dade City Symphony, a community orchestra, since 2014.
