Join the the Florida Wind Band in our new "Lights Out" Chamber Series. This series takes place in the beautiful sanctuary at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church with intimate lighting, allowing you to experience live classical music in a completely new way, guided by a narrator.
Our talented musicians and guest narrator will draw you into an aural journey of the Portuguese Folk Tale "Why the Owl Flies at Night." Your instrumental tour guides through the tale will be a flute quartet showcasing the wide variety of tone colors through the standard flute, as well as the piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute. Our Artistic Director and narrator, Matthew McCutchen, will travel along your side as you experience why the owl flies at night, and how they do so while always looking fantastic in their borrowed feathers!
Thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and community partners, this concert is made free to the public. However, tickets are required to hold your seat during the event. Reserve your tickets today!
